Original Mounting Substrates

Pressure Sensitive Mount Board
Pacific Mount is an industry leader in the production of self-adhesive mount boards to fit all types of framing applications. We manufacture our own line of specialty mount board and keep production in-house to ensure quality and consistency.
Pressure sensitive mount boards are made with pH neutral adhesives, so they will not damage or chemically interact with photos. Pacific Mount offers mount boards in five thicknesses ranging from 1x (24pt) card stock to 5x (1/8”) Competition Grade, and in a variety of precut sizes. Custom sizes are also available.
Foam Board
Pacific Mount self-adhesive foam boards are a lightweight and economical mounting option. They feature a resilient 3/16” polystyrene foam core that is lined on both sides with heavy 350-gram paper. The top side is coated with our signature pressure sensitive adhesive for easy photo mounting.
Warp-Resistant Substrates
Heavy-duty rigid substrates like styrene and hardboard can be used for framing purposes or as standalone products.
High Impact Styrene
High Impact Styrene is a plastic-based mounting substrate that is extremely durable. It does not contain any natural fibers that can absorb moisture, making it a great choice for wet or humid conditions. Like all our products, the top side is coated with pressure sensitive adhesive. Its durability and rigidity make High Impact Styrene the best option customers looking for a mounting substrate that does not require a frame.
Hardboard
The heaviest substrate in the Pacific Mount product line is 1/8”-inch-thick tempered wood particle board. The hardboard is smooth on both sides and laminated with a 1x (24pt) pressure-sensitive paper to create an even, finished surface for mounted photos.
Wall Mounts
Wall mounts are an economical framing alternative that deliver a sleek, modern presentation for photos up to 24x30. The high-density foam core is pre-drilled in the back for flush wall hanging and has pressure sensitive adhesive on the front for photo mounting. Wall mounts are available in either ¾” or 1 ½” thickness, with four edge finishes to choose from.
Overlaminate Films
Preserve, protect and enhance photographs or artwork with Pacific Mount’s line of overlaminate films. Our films are 0.001” thick and protect against moisture, airborne pollutants, and damaged caused by UV light. We currently stock sheets and rolls of film in seven different textures and finishes. Pacific Mount also carries double-sided adhesive film that is great for album pages, center mounting, or back mounting prints.
Laminators
Pacific Mount offers several sizes of cold laminators that can be used with any of our pressure sensitive mounting products or overlaminate films. Smaller photos can be mounted by hand, but using a laminator is faster, easier, and ensures a perfect application. Pacific Mount laminators feature sturdy metal bases and silicone-coated rollers for easy cleaning.
