Prior to Pacific Mount, most mount board used was either art board or mount board material made with a chip board center. Neither board gave a smooth surface for the print to be mounted. Pacific Mount was the leader in developing a mount board with a smooth surface by using precoated materials. Our precoated boards have either a heat activated or a pressure sensitive coating. These precoated boards are easy to use; reducing time, materials and labor mounting photographs, lithography or any material that can be adhered by a heat or cold press procedure. Of course we offer plain or uncoated mount board. All three styles of board are offered in five different thicknesses. Pacific Mount also manufactures a double sided mount board that can be used for trader card, point of purchase materials, scrap booking or in custom designed albums.
